Is there such a thing as luxury off-roading? You know what we mean. A vehicle that is tough, durable, and built to handle whatever off-road experience you want to throw at it yet offers a luxurious interior that keeps you comfy on long road trips. This might sound like it’s too good to be true. But trust us when we say, it isn’t. Everything you would expect in a luxury vehicle plus the ability to handle extreme off-roading adventures comes in a nice package called the Ford F-150 Shelby for sale.

Shelby jazzes up the exterior of the standard Ford F-150 with lots of LED lights, including a 40” curved light bar. This improves safety when offroading at night. They also add the customary black stripes and plaster their logo all over that bad boy. The fender flares, truck gate, and side panels between the cab and the bed all sport the Shelby Baja Raptor logo. The new Ford F-150 Shelby Raptor comes with 6 wheels with 2 as spares in the truck bed. This truck can handle pretty much any terrain, but it doesn’t hurt to have a couple of spare wheels on hand.

The 2019 version features an impressive 525 hp engine with 610 lb-ft of torque. It has the same standard 3.5L twin-turbo V6 normally found in the F-150, but it’s the Shelby souped-up version. With that much horsepower and performance up for grabs, now is a better time than any for picking up a new Ford F-150 Shelby. The only downside, if you can call this a downside, is the 10-speed automatic transmission. Shelby didn’t do anything to upgrade and this feature is less-than-exciting on the regular F-150. On occasion, the Raptor seems to struggle with getting into the right gear. Without paddle shifters, there is no way to manually help the engine with this task.

The interior of the standard Ford F-150 is already pretty hard to improve upon. Enjoy heated and cooled leather seats in both versions on top of many other luxurious features. Shelby adds a few simple touches like swapping out the basic floor mats for something with a little more jazz. They also slap their nameplate on the glovebox as you would expect.

The suspension system on an off-roading vehicle is vitally important and any new or used Ford Shelby truck for sale will not disappoint. This is perhaps where Shelby did the most work in souping up the Shelby Ford Raptor. Enjoy internal bypass technology on the front shocks, designed to understand the type of terrain that you’re tackling. The rear shocks have something similar with the addition of a Quick Adjust Bypass. This system allows you to adjust the tubes by hand, with no tools necessary. As always, only a few trucks are produced each year — 500 for 2018 — to keep the Shelby versions a rarity. Thus, it can be hard to find a Ford Shelby F-150. Feel free to browse through our directory.
