Used Audi R8 V10 Plus For Sale

The second generation comes in two variants: the V10 and Audi R8 V10 Plus for sale, each utilizing the same 5.2 FSI engine. The base V10 model doles out 540 horsepower, while the range-topping V10 Plus packs 610 horsepower. With this additional horsepower comes great performance. Audi states that the V10 Plus will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph. While the V10 Plus features a number of added equipment and greater rigidity, it weighs up to 110 pounds less than its predecessor at 3,205.5 lbs. Audi accomplished this through the use of aluminum and carbon fiber in the Audi Space Frame. On the outside, the new R8 has a refreshed look which in the front includes a fully redesigned grill, air intakes, and headlights.

The grill is now made with a honeycomb pattern, while the air intakes on either side now have two vertical slates to direct air. Above the air intakes are redesigned LED headlights that can be fitted with Audi’s famous laser technology. The new look and enhanced performance make this car a great model to choose.

Just as the first generation R8 was Audi’s version of the Gallardo, this new model is a German-tuned version of the Huracán. The second generation R8 comes in two variants: the V10 and V10 Plus, each utilizing the 5.2- liter V10 FSI engine. The base model doles out 540 horsepower, while the range-topping V10 Plus packs 610 horsepower. With this additional horsepower comes great performance. The V10 Plus will accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 205.1 mph. It also features added equipment and greater rigidity and weighs up to 110.2 pounds less than its predecessor.

On the outside, the new R8 has a refreshed look. The front fascia has a redesigned grille, air intakes, and headlights. The grille is now made with a honeycomb pattern, while the air intakes on either side have two vertical slates to direct air. Above the air intakes are redesigned LED headlights that can be fitted with Audi’s famous laser technology.

Along the sides, the design lines of the car are more pronounced, leading the eye into the large side air vents and up and over the rear wheels. A quick glance at the side of the car and you can see that Audi went with sharper design cues when compared to previous model years.

Instead of the curved rear of the outgoing models, Audi opted for a flatter surface for the entire rear of the car. The newly designed tailpipes and taillights play into the flat surfaces and sharp edges. Overall, the 2016 R8 definitely looks new and different, but what’s more important is the power held within the heart of the V10 Plus.

2019 R8 V10 Plus

For the R8 V10 Plus, the focus is purely on aesthetics and performance. On the outside, the angular body receives an upgrade with the addition of premium lightweight materials such as carbon fiber components with an ASF multi-material space frame. The exterior boasts twin-trapezoidal exhaust outlets, a single frame grille and LED headlights with Audi laser light, while the interior is draped in authentic Nappa leather. As for under the hood, the R8 V10 is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine with FSI dual injection that releases a 602-horsepower output with 413 lb-ft of torque and a maximum speed of 205 MPH.

Audi R8 V10 RWS

The R8 V10 RWS is approximately 110 pounds lighter than the base model Audi R8 V10. To shed the weight and cost, designers dropped the standard all-wheel-drive system in favor of the lighter rear-wheel drive system. As the first rear-wheel drive Audi available for sale in the United States market, only 320 are expected to be made available in the U.S. With many vehicles being upgraded to turbocharged engines, one of the most unique features of the R8 V10 RWS, aside from its rear-wheel drive, is its commitment to the naturally aspirated V10 engine which enables the RWS model to hit top speeds of 199 MPH.
