This 2004 AM General Hummer HMCS H1 Wagon is 1 of 252 H1s built in 2004, 23 of which were wagons and 1 of 12 painted in the P33 Pewter color. A host of upgrades surfaced for the 2004 model including an upgraded 6.5L Optimizer turbo diesel engine offering 205 HP and 440 lb-ft of torque @1800 rpm controlled by an upgraded powertrain management computer. A 4L80-E 4-speed automatic delivers power to the New Venture Gear 242 TorqTrac4 full-time 4-wheel drive transfer case package that includes the optional Eaton Electronic ELocker front and rear differentials. Fitted with the Adventure Package, this H1 also received a 12,000-pound winch and 17-inch, two-piece forged aluminum with dual beadlocks and concealed central-tire inflation system, all wrapped up in Goodyear MT/R Wrangler tires.

The 6061 T6 hardened aluminum body received a new noise-absorbing compound sprayed and baked onto the metal, and finished in Pewter with a black brush guard, bumper and hood vent. The interior was stripped and re-insulated with 3 layers of after-market Dynamat Sound Insulation and a $13,000 premium audio/video system with 3 video screens. The interior was significantly refreshed with seating and door panels swathed in black and saddle two-tone leather, heaters for the front seats, air-conditioning with a rear auxiliary unit, cruise control and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

H1 Hummers are becoming increasingly difficult to locate, as they are highly desired worldwide, and this exemplary low-mileage unit is sure to please. Based on the military-spec M998 Humvee, the H1 is one of the most capable civilian off-road vehicles ever produced. As it was originally designed for military use, the H1 boasts 16" of ground clearance, 72° approach angle and 32° departure angle with the ability to scale a 60% grade with 40% grade slope capability. In its stock form, it's also capable of wading through 30" of water and climb a 22" vertical wall. The body is comprised of hardened aircraft grade aluminum and rides on a heavy-duty steel box frame with five cross members and a 4-wheel independent double A-frame suspension. H1 wagon models can pull up to a 7542 lb tow load for your towing needs.
